An opening reception for QMAP was held on Oct 29, 2015 in the Physics atrium between 5:00pm and 7:30pm.

The five new members of the UC Davis physics and mathematics departments discussed their scientific research in an informal setting. The posters (click below to enlarge) summarize some of the research directions.

As part of the opening event we also featured technical talks, which covered topics of current research interest which are being actively explored by the new members.
